Brunello Cucinelli S.p.A. (Italian pronunciation: [bruˈnɛllo kutʃiˈnɛlli]) is an Italian luxury fashion brand which sells menswear, women's wear and accessories in Europe, North and South America and East Asia. The company was founded by Brunello Cucinelli in 1978.
Short seller Morpheus Research accused the Italian luxury label of secretly operating in Russia despite EU sanctions. The company has denied the claims. After short-seller report, Cucinelli reaffirms that it operates in Russia in line with EU rules.
The company still works in Russia and has stores that are allegedly closed due to sanctions, but in fact sell the manufacturer's new collections in Russia.
