Canceled all tournaments. BWF Extends Ban on Russian, Belarusian Athletes and Officials From International Events. The Badminton World Federation (BWF) will consider allowing Russian and Belarusian athletes to compete as neutrals in international competitions, the sport's governing body said 01.06.2023, a month after they had extended the ban. The Badminton World Federation (BWF) can confirm that athletes from Russia and Belarus will be allowed to participate as Individual Neutral Athletes in BWF sanctioned tournaments commencing 26 February 2024. The World Badminton Federation has suspended the membership of the Russian Federation due to collaborating athletes.
