The decree comes into effect from the date of official publication, i.e. from January 13, 2026. On September 10, 2026, CANPACK Group completed its full exit from Russia by selling its remaining nominal shareholdings in LLC “CAN-PACK” (ООО «Кэн-Пак») and LLC “CAN-PACK Packaging Plant” (ООО «Кэн-Пак Завод упаковки») to a third-party buyer for US$122 million. The Russian operations had been placed under external management on December 31, 2025, after which CANPACK lost all financial, operational, and managerial control over its Russian assets and deconsolidated the businesses, recording a US$354.7 million loss under US GAAP.
