Christian Louboutin (French: [kʁistjɑ̃ lubutɛ̃]; born 7 January 1964) is a French fashion designer. His stiletto footwear incorporates shiny, red-lacquered soles that have become his signature. Initially a freelance designer for fashion houses, he started his shoe salon in Paris, with his shoes finding favour with celebrity clientele. He has partnered with other organizations for projects including limited edition pieces, gallery exhibits, and a custom bar. His company has since branched out into men's luxury footwear, handbags, fragrances, and makeup.

Aizel Trudel, the owner of Aizel, which represents Western brands Christian Louboutin and Agent Provocateur in Russia, received a 33.3% stake in the company, which owns 11.7 hectares of land on Rublevskoye Highway in western Moscow. Dmitry Cheremukhin, who in 2019 served as a board member of a company within the state corporation Rostec, remains the majority owner. The partners may build a residential complex of 120,000–140,000 square meters there, which would require up to 50 billion rubles.
