Dongfang Electric Corporation is a Chinese state-owned company and a major manufacturer of power equipment. Founded in 1984, it is headquartered and has its main production facilities in Chengdu.
The order for the supply of turbogenerator units, consisting of a low-speed steam turbine and generator, for the third and fourth power units of the Leningrad Nuclear Power Plant-2 (LNPP-2, with a capacity of 2.3 GW) under construction will be fulfilled by the Chinese DongFang Electric Corporation, one of the three largest Chinese manufacturers of power equipment.
