They operate in Russia under their subsidiary, Fuchs Oil Russia, and operate a modern blending plant in Kaluga as well as offices in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yaroslavl and Yekaterinburg. Fuchs says it has stopped supplying raw materials and finished products to Russia but continues to operate within Russia for the Russian market. German lubricant marketer Fuchs Petrolub SE said it has largely curtailed operations in Russia but that it would not close its blending plant in Kaluga, a city southwest of Moscow. The facility has capacity to manufacturing 40,000 metric tons of lubes per year.
Fuchs Petrolub, the world's largest independent lubricant manufacturer, told Lube Report in June 2022 that it “no longer supplies raw materials and finished products to Russia. The local business in Russia operates on a limited basis and products are only produced locally for the Russian market." But the company managed to increase its revenue and profit in 2022 vs 2021.
