Banned teams, officials, referees, lecturers and experts from Russia and Belarus from taking part in IHF events and activities. Following the decisions of the Executive Board of the International Olympic Committee on 7 May and 7 July, the International Handball Federation Council has decided to align its position with the latest global sporting guidelines. The Federation has officially lifted the ban, which was initially imposed on 4 March 2022 following Russia's invasion of Ukraine, where the war is ongoing. Russian and Belarusian teams, officials, referees, lecturers and experts can now participate in all IHF events and activities with their national symbols.
