The International Paralympic Committee is the international non-governmental organization governing the Paralympic movement. The Committee decides on the conduct of the Paralympic Games, and is also a sports federation for a number of Paralympic sports.

Russian and Belarusian athletes will compete as neutrals at next year's Paris Paralympics after the International Paralympic Committee voted against maintaining a full ban of the two countries, imposed after the 2022 invasion of Ukraine.

Russia and Belarus’ Paralympic committees were banned by the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), likely till next fall. The appeals tribunal of the IPC satisfied the appeal of the PKR and confirmed that the decision of the General Assembly of the IPC to suspend the membership of the PKR in the IPC is canceled.
