It was formed in 2015 following the merger of the coffee division of Mondelez International with Douwe Egberts as Jacobs Douwe Egberts. The stock of JDE Peet's is listed on the Euronext Amsterdam stock exchange. The company owns the following brands: Jacobs, Jacobs Monarch, Jacobs Coffee, Douwe Egberts, Carte Noire, Tassimo, Maxim, Moccona, Super, Mighty Leaf, Pilao, Pickwick, Gevalia, Senseo, Super Coffee, Owl Coffee, OldTown White Coffee, Kenco.

Continue doing business as usual, increased revenue in 2022 vs 2021. JDE Peet's (coffee brands Jacobs, L'Or, Tassimo) will stop selling foreign brands of coffee and tea in Russia before the end of the year. Only local brands will be represented in Russia. The company is largely still operating in Russia - they just phase out some international brands but they plan to keep selling in Russia and paying tax money there.
