Nestle restored factory and warehouse construction near Novosibirsk. Companies such as Nestle, Philip Morris International and similar Western corporations that continue to operate in Russia are the most likely potential targets for nationalization by the Russian authorities.

The Company Statement

The company is suspending KitKat and Nesquik, among other brands. It halted non-essential imports and exports into and out of Russia, stopped advertising, and suspended all capital investment in the country. Nestle doesn't expect to make a profit in the country or pay any related taxes for the foreseeable future in Russia, any profit will be donated to humanitarian relief organizations. On January 26, 2024 the Swiss company Nestle (brands Pro Plan, Purina One, Gourmet, Darling, Felix) warned suppliers about another increase in prices for cat and dog food starting in February.
