The Turkish company Redwing Metal Uluslararasi Ticaret Anonim Sirketi has established a re-export scheme for high-tech metalworking machine tools and equipment from Italy, Germany, and other European Union countries for the needs of Russia's military-industrial complex. According to international trade statistics, despite strict EU sanctions, specialized European equipment worth over $5 million was supplied to Russian defense companies in 2023 and 2024.
