Stay Scaling BackGerman energy firm RWE has initiated arbitration proceedings against Russia's Gazprom over missing gas deliveries, a spokesperson for RWE said, without providing further details. German energy company RWE has won an arbitration case against Gazprom-Export at the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). At the end of 2022, RWE initiated arbitration proceedings against Gazprom-Export in connection with two framework agreements for the purchase and sale of gas. The German company claimed that after the supply was stopped, it had to purchase gas at higher prices on the open market. RWE decided to recover the losses incurred as a result from Gazprom.
