The company also do not have any business relations to Russia and decided to terminate its Russian VARTA business completely, with the local team closing all operations from summer 2022. The local company's was liquidated on August 8, 2023. Already at the point of the beginning of July 2023 all Russian product certificates became invalid.
Received revenues in Russia in 2021 but started the liquidation process. VARTA fully exited Russian market and on August 8, 2023 has liquidated local entity (tax id: 7703468892).
