Vienna's main energy company said on Friday it will stop using Russian natural gas in 2025, as Austria steps up efforts to reduce its dependence on Russian energy supplies after Moscow's 2022 invasion of Ukraine. Wien Energie said that customers, power plants and district heating will be fully supplied with non-Russian gas and that the procurement for 2025 was completed in the last few days. with the help of decisive measures," added Hanke.
