After the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, Bacardi announced that it would stop exporting to Russia and stop investing in advertising, but it continues to do business in Russia and is actively looking for new employees there.

In fact, Bacardí stopped supplies of a number of brands to Russia at the beginning of 2023, although prior to this significant reserves of these drinks were formed — sent mainly to catering enterprises.
