Russia initiated aggression against Ukraine in 2014. On February 24, 2022, it started a full-scale military invasion to the Ukrainian territory. This brutal war and military crimes of Russian troops caused a humanitarian crisis in Ukraine with thousands civilians killed and millions becoming refuges. As a reaction to this act of aggression, many international companies decided to leave the Russian market, while some others continue doing business there as usual. We track such decisions of companies and urge them to stop funding the war.

Ford Exits Sollers Ford Joint Venture In Russia Following Seven Month Suspension of Operations. The production line at the Sollers automobile plant in Vladivostok will be launched in 2023 together with partners from China.
Operations in Russia have become increasingly challenging, including supply chain disruptions and sanctions, and we are suspending operations in our Russian manufacturing facilities. The President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, signed an order for LLC "PSK — New Solutions" to purchase the Russian assets of the American company Caterpillar. The former Russian assets of the American machine-building company Caterpillar were transferred to a company owned by the Armenian investment fund Balchug Capital. Russian President Vladimir Putin approved the purchase of Caterpillar assets by a company called PSK-New Solutions in November 2023. Putin's decree and the Russian company's documents do not disclose the terms of the deal. Putin's decree states that PSK-New Solutions can buy 100% of the authorized capital of Caterpillar Tosno and Caterpillar Financial in response to Western sanctions. 06.2024: PSK - NEW SOLUTIONS LLC becomes the new founder of the organization Caterpillar Financial LLC. The entry about the founders of “CATERPILLAR INTERNATIONAL SERVICES CORPORATION” and “CATERPILLAR FINANCIAL SERVICES CORPORATION” has been removed from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities. 06/25/2024: The full name was changed from CATERPILLAR FINANCIAL LLC to FINANCIAL LLC. 06.2024: PSK - NEW SOLUTIONS LLC becomes the new founder of the organization LLC "Caterpillar Tosno". The entry about the founders of CATERPILLAR INC. CORPORATION and CATERPILLAR OVERSEAS S.A.R.L. LLC has been removed from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities. The Insider found out that in the first 3 months of 2024, more than $24 million worth of equipment and spare parts produced by the American corporation Caterpillar arrived in Russia. Among them: industrial engines, spare parts for tracked loaders, bearings for road construction equipment, electric generators for Caterpillar equipment, pumps and their parts, gears and much more. Judging by the product descriptions, we are talking about new parts and assemblies. 07.2024: The entry about the founder of PSK - NEW SOLUTIONS LLC has been removed from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities. INVESTMENT SOLUTIONS LLC becomes the new founder of Caterpillar Financial LLC and Caterpillar Tosno LLC. 04.07.2024: The name has been changed from CATERPILLAR TOSNO LLC to TOSNO LLC. 07.04.2025: Migal Aleksandr Petrovich becomes the new founder of the organization. JSC "HORIZON" becomes the new founder of the organization. The entry about the founder of CLOSED COMBINED MUTUAL INVESTMENT FUND "NEON" has been removed from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities. Most of the remaining legal entities saw their revenues fall significantly or to 0 in 2024, formally - exited.
Deere said it suspended shipments of machines to Russia two weeks ago as the nation invaded Ukraine, and subsequently halted deliveries to Belarus. Insight Investment Group confirmed the acquisition of John Deere Financial LLC, a subsidiary of the U.S. company, but declined to disclose the price. 11.2023: FLIT LLC becomes the new founder of the organization of the leasing company.
