Forward Technical Trade SL, a Barcelona-based sole proprietorship managed by David Candela Sauri, was involved in the supply of a used Austrian radial forging machine (manufactured in 1983 by GFM) to Russia. The equipment, worth around $1.3 million and weighing 110 tons, is now used at the Izhevsk-based AZK Group for artillery barrel production. The delivery was routed through a Hong Kong intermediary, Scorpion’s Holding Group Limited, and cleared customs in Nizhny Novgorod. The Austrian manufacturer GFM denied any direct business with Forward Technical Trade or Scorpion’s Holding, suggesting the equipment was resold as second-hand machinery without their consent.
