In April 2023 National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) has included Peninsula Petroleum to international war sponsors list. In June 2023 NACP excluded from the list of international sponsors of the war the world's leading ship fuel supply company, the Irish Peninsula Petroleum Limited. The company has sent a corresponding letter to NAKC indicating the fulfilled conditions that allow it to be excluded from the list. Peninsula Petroleum Limited has stopped supplying bunker fuel not only to Russian-owned or Russian-flagged vessels, but also to those carrying Russian oil. The company took such steps as a sign of condemnation of Russian aggression.
